In honor of Halloween, enjoy this link. It's an MP3 of the original, infamous broadcast of War of the Worlds by the Mercury Theatre of the Air. Performer/director Orson Welles did a fantastic job of fashioning a believable invasion by extra terrestrials bent on taking over the earth. In listening, it's pretty easy to see how someone coming across the broadcast midway would be confused and possibly panic while listening.
